MEMBERSHIP APPLICATION FORM

The Vermont Watercolor Society, a nonprofit organization founded in 1995, is dedicated to promoting the awareness and appreciation of watercolor to its membership at all levels of ability and to the community by providing opportunities and venues for participation, education, fellowship, and exhibitions.

We are an exciting and growing organization with nearly 200 members. We invite all with an interest in watercolor from novice to professional and those who are just curious, from Vermont and beyond, to join us.

There are two levels of membership. Associate Member is our entry level membership and Signature Member is our second tier level achieved by being juried into three VWS juried shows within a five year period. This gives the member the privilege of using the VWS letters after their name.

As a member of the VWS you are entitled to:

• enter VWS sponsored exhibits, both juried and open
• enjoy networking opportunities with other watercolorists
• participate in VWS workshops, demonstrations, events and topic-specific presentations
• receive a discount on VWS and “in-view” workshops
• participate in two semi-annual member meetings
• receive monthly communications
• VWSplash, a quarterly newsletter
• VWSnippets, a “breaking news” publication
• obtain a VWS gallery page at a nominal fee
• participate as a volunteer helping to make the society the best it can be

Our membership dues are $35 annually which runs from January 1 to December 31. New members can join at anytime during the year.
